Third Street Promenade · Santa Monica
WestsideLanes
Boutique bowling. Coastal cool. Open late.
The idea
Real activity
back on the
Promenade.
A bright, design-forward cocktail bar that spills onto the street. Step through, and you find three lanes built for grown-ups who want to play without giving up atmosphere, hospitality, or design. Compact enough to stay electric. Big enough to feel like a destination.

Santa Monica
Front of house
A cocktail bar,
right on the street.
It opens as a bright, design-forward cocktail bar — turquoise tile, a live-edge counter, surfboards on the wall, seats spilling onto the Promenade. Coastal cocktails on tap for speed and consistency, large-format pitchers for the table, shared plates that need no lane. A destination in its own right.
From the kitchen
Come hungry.
Wood-fired flatbreads, citrus-bright plates, coastal sushi, things on skewers - proper food that happens to live in a bowling alley. Most don't bother; we built a kitchen worth coming back for - and a separate lane menu you never have to touch with your hands.
The scene
Feels like Santa Monica.
Cocktails, a couple of frames, and nowhere else to be.

A reverse speakeasy
Most hide the bar.
We hid the lanes.
Flip the speakeasy: out front, a cocktail bar anyone can walk into. Tucked inside it, a concealed door — and behind that, three lanes waiting. Half the fun is finding your way through.

By day,
the lanes.
By night, the dance floor.
Early evenings: bowling, shared plates, group bookings. Then the lanes cover, the lights drop, and the room becomes a DJ-led floor — same footprint, second life.
Watch it turn
House balls
Pick your colours.
A custom set, hand-painted with the coast — sunrise, sunset, palm-line, and break. Roll the one that matches your mood.

First frame
Get on the list for opening night.
Lanes, launch parties, and the after-dark floor — the list hears first. Booking opens ahead of the doors.
